VRS Covert 2.0 Driver
Nike has made a driver that can be played by golfers of any skill level. This driver showcases state-of-the-art fly-brace technology that produces incredible energy transfer through the clubhead for maximum distance. The clubhead’s size and re-engineered NexCOR face promote playability and extreme forgiveness, resulting in long tee shots. The enhanced Flexloft adjustability allows you to custom fit the driver to your specific needs.
The unique fly-brace technology in the VRS Covert 2.0 ties the sole to the crown on the clubhead. This process creates a stiffer rear portion on the golf club, which delivers more energy back to the face when the golf ball is struck. The ultimate result of this technology is greater ball speed and more distance compared to the previous model.
NexCOR Face Technology
The nexcor face technology has been re-engineered to enhance the sweet spot on the club face. The larger sweet spot has created a forgiving and stable hitting area that will increase distance.
The Flexloft adjustability is a tremendous asset to the Nike VRS Covert 2.0 product line. The Flexloft allows you to customize the driver to your individual needs. The adjustability allows you to adjust the loft and face angle separately from each other. The loft can be adjusted in one degree increments from 8.5 to 12.5 degrees, as well as three different face angle positions: left, neutral or right.
Other VRS Covert 2.0 Driver Options
The Nike VRS Covert 2.0 Tour driver features all the same technology as the VRS Covert 2.0 driver except for the shaft. The shaft in the tour driver weighs 60 grams, unlike the non-tour 50 gram shaft, which is intended for faster swing speeds to increase distance. This heavier shaft also has a titanium nickel fiber tip for additional reinforcement. The reinforced shaft tip increases stability and reduces spin, creating a penetrating ball flight.
