About
August 24th, 2004 by Erik J. Barzeski
The Sand Trap .com was begun in September, 2004 because the founders, all golf nuts, wanted a place of their own to write, to share opinions, and to gather. We all love golf, and we couldn't find very many golf blogs around. We tried to join a few, but the ones that existed were primarily one-author blogs.
The Sand Trap .com aims to offer news, swing tips, and a whole lot of commentary. We're an opinionated bunch with real day jobs. We may not cover every news story, and we may spend too much time scouring the Internet for pictures of Elin Nordegren or Sonya Toms, but we're golfers to the core.
Currently, we have little planned beyond what you see here now: a blog on which you can comment. We want to work on a weekly poll, and we have some ideas for the future, but we want to get the this thing going before we worry about expanding too far.
Join us, won't you?

Does anybody know how I can get my book reviewed on The Sand Trap.com? I recently got a book published. Its called "Striking It Rich: Golf in the Kingdom with Generals, Patients and Pros". It tells the story of my path to the pro tour while working as a surgeon in Southeast Asia. You can get a more substantial backstory by looking the book up on Amazon.com
Thank you
