Like I've said before about their durability, The original whites are virtually indestructible, but the other colors of tees are not quite as durable as the whites. Still, they are much more durable than wood tees. I wish they made them in fluorescent colors though.

I've commented favorably previously. However, lately they've started breaking more frequently than in the past few years. I'm getting older, not stronger. Is something going on in the manufacturing process? Still my tee of choice.

I like these tees a lot. I have used them for two seasons. Like stated above, they are very hard to break and when they do break, it is usually one of the prongs that gets sheared off. I haven't notice any game improvement as a result of teeing up with these, but the durability makes it totally worth the cost. I gave one to a playing partner last year to try and he still has it. He showed it to me last weekend. I only have one complaint. Sometimes I have trouble getting the ball on the tee on the first or second try if it isn't perfectly straight. It's a little frustrating to take 20 seconds to do something that usually takes 2 seconds. Pros completely outweigh the cons. These are in my bag for good and with a 50-count, I won't have to buy any more unless I give them away.

In my last review, I said that I wished the tees came in a flourescent color so that they were easier to find. I bought some red ones and found that they are harder to see than the whites. I bought some pink ones thinking that they'd be easier to find, which they are, but I still think that they should make them in flourescent colors. BTW, my buddies kidded me about the pink, I just told them that I am honoring breast cancer awareness by using them, they all just noded their heads and said "wow, that's cool"

One last thing about the tees, the red and pink that I use, and the orange that my son uses, don't seem to be quite as durable as the original white ones. Still the best tees out there.

My cousin's friend said that he knew somebody who broke one of these tees. I don't know whether it's true or not but that's just what I heard....Seriously though, these things are indestructible.
All in all....still a tee
By definition, it really is a tee, but NOT just another tee. I don't know about distance because of playing on different courses with different wind conditions and not having a (consistant) swing.

I have worked for the last year on my foward press and late break and I am much longer and straighter while still using a conventional tee. I am talking 40 to 60 yards further than I used to.

The difference is, that with the Zero Friction Tee, I am hitting my drives with more accuracy than with the conventional tee. To prove it to myself, I hit 50 balls with a conventional tee and another 50 balls using the Zero Friction Tee. I aimed at the three hundred yard marker and noted the shot disburtion. The Zero Friction Tee's won hands down. The 4-7 yard extra distance does sound good, but where I see it, accuracy is what counts.
