I've seen the golfers mentioned wearing these glasses on Golf Channel. They do look nice. Good sunglasses should be worn when driving or playing out of doors primarily for protection, but the correct lens will enhance vision. They are hard to find, but I've worn NATIVE for years. Look forward to personal inspection of Kaenon.

 As with all reviews, your article is subjective. In the end, if the athlete is sponsored by an eyewear company, they will and endorse and wear their products. Any reputable sunglass company has their product knock offs that you can get at the local convenience store. But if you're in to quality and reliability, you can't go wrong with Kaenons, or Oakleys, or Maui Jims. Try 'em all and go with what you like!!!

every single player that you see on tv is sponsored by the sunglass company that you see on their face. The 08 olympics sponsored the two american volleyball guys that wore the red white and blue oakley (that they were told to wear even though they had to take the lenses out bc they were fogging; which oakley are not suppose to do). professional athletes do not wear sunglasses that they have to pay for, they are paid to wear what they wear. Maui Jim and Kaenon are among the very best optically correct sunglasses on the market. Oakley are among the worst although their marketing has done them well in the past and present. PGA players are given Oakley and, on their free time, go and buy maui jim bc they are better; that is why you see a better selection of maui jim products in golf shops. you dont see tiger wearing oakley or maui jim bc he is a nike sponsor. NIke sunlasses suck terrible! He plays better with nothing bluring his vision.

I believe that the PGA Tour Pros have a responsibility to wear the sunglasses that they are wearing on their visor even if they are not getting paid to show them while playing on the air. They are damaging their eyes for the sake of "trying to look good by wearing them on the back of their head" - but I do not have eyes back there and I intend on seeing well into my life and enjoy the game of golf well into the eighties and hopefully 90's. I have bole golf sunglasses, and although they do not provide as much coverage as I would like, they are terrific during the round, including putting. I dont take them off until the 19th hold :) ...

Keep it down the middle -

I have seen these before and they are very nice indeed. I personally prefer the Peak Vision Dual Zone lenses but I agree
you can read the lie with the Kaenon well but if it is very bright
the lenses are either too light or too dark depending on which one you have. Mohun is right - PGA players often take their glasses off and they risk damaging their eyes when they do !

Is it just me, or do other golfers out there have issues with wearing sunglasses when playing? I went out and bought a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses (just for golf), and I have to admit I play worse wearing them. They are now relegated to the bag. The majority of PGA Tour players it seems (from what I see on TV) do not wear sunglasses while playing. Any thoughts on that?
