&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;Fairhaven, MA (September 2, 2005) - Acushnet Company and Academy Sports &amp; Outdoors announced today that they have settled the lawsuit which Acushnet brought against Academy regarding the sale of counterfeit Titleist Pro V1 golf balls.  The lawsuit was filed on April 11 after consumers complained to Acushnet that Pro V1 golf balls purchased at Academy did not appear to be genuine.  Although full details of the settlement were not released, Acushnet did receive Academy&#039;s cooperation in removing all counterfeit product from its shelves and in identifying all possible sources of the counterfeit product.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;</description>

		<description>I heard about this.  You know in the used ball bin at my local club there are some titleists that just don&#039;t &quot;look&quot; right.  The print is off and the prov1 logo isn&#039;t on the seam.  I&#039;m going to try to get my hands on one.</description>
