Just got Cleveland VP Milled 1 putter to replace my TM Tourismo, i really like the feel and finishing of the VP Milled. With the special offer price S$149, i think it's the best deal putter anyone can get compare to Titleist SC & Odyssey BS. The feel is still not as good than the other 2 which i mention but i have greatly improve my putt at least -2 putts on the green compare to my TM. I have no regret and will keep this in my bag with confident when i'm doing my Greens.

Having just started playing again after a 13 year layoff, I've been analyzing my putting a lot -- because my stroke never came back. My putter is closed when I think it's directly at the target. You may misalign it consistently left or right, but have you ever found a solution to this problem [other than buying new putters]?

I concur with the review. I have been looking at a new putter for 6 months and tested the Cleveland VP2. I loved the feel of the ball coming off the face. I had the Odyssey Hot Tour in mind, but after testing this, my mind was made up. Hey Cleveland, redo the logo. Come up with something more esthetically appealing, more classy.

The VP3 is an absolutely awesome mallet. The feel is very soft and it rolls the ball true. Plus you cannot beat the price. If you were thinking of getting a RedX you should try the VP3 first.

Great review!

I agree about the flashy logo, but wouldn't be too concerned myself, since these are not visible when looking down at the putter while actually putting. The top line looks very clean!

Nice putter...and it's about time the price of these so called "new" milled putters was at a reasonable price. How much can they really be spending on r&d to continue to copy what are pretty standard shapes and techniques. Whatever the original was (ping for the shape and weight distribution, and Cameron for upping the quality with milled construction), these all look, and feel very similar.

Thanks, great review. I saw these in the shop the other day and had a few putts with it on the indoor putting mat. I really, really like the alignment aid. I think it's worth getting the putter for just this feature alone. The fact that (when blindfolded) you can't tell the difference in feel to a SC Newport is all the endorsement I need to go get a VP1.

Nice review. They look like solid putters and I like the dual axis alignment. But, I agree with you on the logo on the back - it's just too busy looking for me. That seems to be a recurring theme with Cleveland with several of their products.

I paid $150 for my Cameron used and I would definitely go that route again before buying one of these new.
