Well I've gone and made another switch! I played the Pro CB for about 6 weeks and love them, however, I ordered the Pro MB GW, PW and 9 and put them into play and have to say that they are even better then the CB's! At first I thought they might be too much club for my handicap of 9-I was wrong. They are even easier to hit than the CB's and much easier to control the ball flight. They feel even more solid than the CB's and the setup gives you all the inspiration and confidence you could ask for. Since then, I've ordered the 8, 7, 6 and 5 irons. I've replaced my 4 iron with the Titleist AP2 4 irons and my 3 iron with the Titleist AP1 3 iron. My wedges are Vokey Custom Spin Milled 56 TVD and a 60M. I'm really thrilled with this setup and know they will take my game to a new level. I also changed my swing to the "Stack & Tilt" swing which allows be to make greater solid contact/ball striking. Good golfing to you.

I got my set of Pro CB last week and put them into play and have to say that they are fantastic! I ordered them one degree strong and with Dynamic Gold S300 shafts with Sensicore and all I can say is WOW! My previous iron set is TaylorMade r7 with DG S300 shafts and I love them, but I knew I needed a 'player's' set to go to the next level. They are forgiving, and the feedback will let you know if you missed the sweet spot. But even when they are miss-hit slightly, they still travel just a bit less than when struck pure. They definitely feel like 'butter.' I just ordered the Pro MB 9, PW and GW and will replace the same in the Pro CB set. The long irons in this set are relatively easy to hit accurately and with loft, however, I decided to replace the 4 and 3 irons with Mizuno's MP Fli-Hi. When its all said and done my set will look like this... Callaway X-Forged 60, 64 LW, Titleist Spin-Milled 53 SW, Cobra Pro MB GW, PW, 9, Cobra Pro CB 8, 7, 6, 5, and Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 4, 3. All with the DG S300 shafts with Sensicore.

I have been shopping for a new set of irons for the last month or so. the first club that I demo'd was the Cobra Pro CB and from the first shot I hit with it, it felt great. I spent days at the range hitting a hand full of different clubs and this one felt the best without a doubt!!! I have been playing X-14's for the last 5-6 years, and i hit my six about 175-180 and with every other club i tried (Titleist AP2, Titleist ZB, MP57, MP67, Callaway X-Forged, Callaway X-20 Tour) I was one full club shorter. The Cobra Pro CB was exactly the same distance as my old clubs, but the consistency was out of this world. Every shot I hit was 175-178 yds. shot dispertion was very good. mis-hits didnt feel that bad and were off the target line much less then the other clubs I tried, and distance lost on bad shots was much better with the Cobra. Clean shots felt much better than all of the other clubs with equally good shots. The trajectory is high with these clubs for sure, but shots definately seemed to flatten out at the apex and come down very nicely for good distance. because of this I choose for the Rife Project X 6.0 shafts to get the ball just a bit lower for my swing. When all said and done, this club is absolutely the best i have ever hit!

i hit both the mb and cb at a demo day this weekend... i had the idea going in that i was going to focus on the ap2 titleist... after hitting ap2, zm's and both cobras i found that i liked the mb and zm's very much... both inspired confidence and i actually found them to handle the thin shots much better... the ap2's were clunky... any of the other 3 would suit me fine...

i play to a 3 and currently play j36 blades which are not forgiving at all.. both the zm and cobra mb seemed as forgiving as the ping irons i grew up playing...
hope that helps

I definitely like the looks of the irons. I like the simple look to the CB's, compared to the crazy looking irons being put out these days. (even from Titleist) I think I will own a set soon.
I would try the MB's, but they do not come left handed. (as far as I can tell) This has annoyed me with a lot of the companies over the years. I realize that they do not sell a ton of lefty "players" clubs. But they could make a limited number.
But....I think I just might pull the trigger on the CB's. I will post a report, if/when I get a set.

it also has something to do with better design and weight (center of gravity in particular) positioning to allow for stronger (modern) lofts...not just marketing gimmick..

Good looking players irons for sure. Cobra sure is stepping up their aesthetic game with these clubs.
Mixed messages here. Pro. Muscleback. etc. But they still have a 46 degree pitching wedge.

That's a 9I from just a couple of iterations in the marketing cycle ago.
Lucky there's a 50d gap wedge. Perfect!
