		<description>Frank Thomas, the former technical director for the USGA and the guy who invented graphite shafts, says yes... shorter drivers, in particular, would better suit most players. Because they're easier to control, accuracy is much improved at a relatively small cost in distance.

But blanket statements like this may not apply to you. Again, that's why getting fit by somebody who knows what they're doing is so important.</description>
