I just wanted to see what kinds of things your teacher has done to really help you out....besides the lessons. My instructor uses a program called swing viewer and he made me a copy of it and gave me a bunch of different tour pros videos so I could compare them to mine. He also has given me the unlimited range pass for half price ($50). I cant tell you how much being able to watch my swing at home compared to other players has helped me! The $150 I spend a month on the lessons and then the $50 I spend for range balls hurts the wallet a little bit, but damn does it sure help me out alot!

I've never taken a lesson, so I can't answer this question too well. I can answer it for people I've played with, though: the best thing any pro ever did for them was give them only one thing to think about, ever. I think it's physically impossible to think about more than one thing during a golf swing if you want to hit the ball even reasonably well.

I haven't recieved any party favors from my pro... he's a great guy and is willing to chat with you between custormers at the practice tee. He gave me some tips and I wasn't there for a lesson. I guess you could call that a freebie.

WOW............. where i live, $50 wont get you ANYTHING.... range balls are EXPENSIVE here in Bergen County, NJ. I dont see how $200 bucks a month could hurt ur wallet that much... i spend that much for balls in like 7-8 weeks WITH the $40 bonus we get wen i put $200 bucks into my range card......ADD LESSONS AND GREEN FEES TO THAT

I dont know, its just a very expensive hobby. I think it is well worth it, dont get me wrong, but with greens fees, gloves, and everything else that you dump money into....it damn sure adds up quick! Range balls here are average around 9 dollars for a bucket of 150.
