Club Speed : Ball Speed

5 iron club speed is 100mph with ball speed of 130-132 mph. Avg distance is 210 yards.
Driver club speed is 110-112mph with ball speed of 160-162 mph. Avg distance is 290-310 yards.

I know that.. But I don't think those stats are right .. It does not sound right to me. I Have fit around 2,000 with the Vector LM. Unless its not very accurate!!!

I find that I need to be around 118 with a ball speed of 169-170 to get the ball over 300 yards. Depending on spin rate. Then on the 5 iron I would be willing to bet it needs to be closer to 105-109 to get what he is saying!!

I know I have not fit anyone for about a year. But Damn did golf clubs get that much better since I left club fitting?

Been (quite) a while and I only did the 5-iron but, it clocked at 105. The 210 range was the distance I was told. For what it's worth...

P.S. My clubs haven't gotten any better. Or, maybe it's the guy swinging them... :-P
