View Full Version : Wanted - Game Improvement Irons

I'm looking for a good used set of game improvement irons. Standard length or 1/4" over, standard lie or 1 deg upright. I'd like a stiff shaft or a stiffer regular flex. It doesn't have to be the newest or greatest but I'd like them to be in good shape. I've been looking at clubs like the Cobra 3100 and some Adams sets. Mind you, I'm strapped with my second baby on the way so I need to stay cheap.

If you're selling something let me know and show some pics, if not and you know of a good deal please feel free to post a link. I appreciate any help!

dickssportinggoods.com is selling Nike OSS Slingshots for 399 they dont look the best but they are great clubs

I've got a set of Hogan Apex Edge irons 3-PW. They're in good shape. Stiff shafts (Hogan 4's), regular set-up. The grips are in good shape, pretty new Lamkin crossline model. The heads are forged, but cavity back.

I just got some Mizuno MP-60's, so I'd like to get rid of the Hogans. I'd sell them for $100 plus $10 shipping.

Just saw that tree...I'm more interested in the Apex Irons at this point, but I will let you know if that changes.

Those are in beautiful shape but I came across a local set of Nike's I was able to hit and the deal was good enough to buy them on the spot. If you put those up on sale here I don't think you'll have any trouble getting rid of them, they're really nice clubs!

i have a set of callaway big bertha fusion irons with new lamkin crossline red grips in them....good condition.....i need a little more money for some blades

I have a set of Nike Slingshots I bought used this April. They're in excellent shape and have stiff steel shafts. There is just a little too much game improvement in them for me, as I prefer to work the ball a bit. Contact me if you're interested.....

It was a private sale from a friend in Chicago that was visiting. He had multiple iron sets and let me hit one.

I am a fan of Mizuno and the Comp EZ are oversized forged irons that are game improvement. I bought a new set before the mp30 and now mp33 irons that I am playing. You can buy on ebay for under $250 for a used full set.

I also like the kzg cavity irons.
