i've got a mclean power release swing trainer club i'm selling. it's in pretty decent shape... there are scuffs/light scratches across the bottom of the clubhead where it's brushed against the floor repeatedly, and there's one small chip of paint gone from the upper part of the shaft.

all that's strictly cosmetic, of course, and doesn't effect the training ability of the club.

i bought it new a little over a year ago for $75 - i'd be willing to let it go for $40 plus shipping (which i don't know the exact cost of yet...)

also, i have an incomplete set of beginner clubs. they're designed for someone who's over 6 feet tall (i'm 6'3") and need to be re-gripped. i've got a 10.5 degree driver and 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 irons and pitching wedge. i also have a putter that came with the set. i'll even throw in a yellow-orange Taylormade bag with them. they are steel shaft clubs. i'll clean them up as best i can before sending them off, but know that they've been used pretty thoroughly. if you've got someone you know who wants to get into golf and are just looking for an inexpensive cheapy beginner set, and said person is also at least six feet tall, well... here you go.

i really have no idea what to ask for these, so i'll say "make me an offer." i'll try to get some pictures taken of the clubs later tonight. if you want some pics of the clubs/want to make me an offer, or if you're interested in the power release trainer, shoot me an email at mirvii@yahoo.com

thanks

Has the release trainer helped your club mph at all?

honestly, i am not 100% sure on that. i haven't had my swing speed clocked since before i got the swing trainer. when i bought the swing trainer, though, my local pro was actually encouraging me to slow my swing down and i was using the trainer more for the "release" part than that "power" part. my release was always way too late back then. but i can say this with certainty - prior to using the swing trainer, i never got the "swoosh" sound through the impact zone, and it's rare that i swing a club these days and don't get that, so i'm inclined to say that if nothing else, the swing trainer DID give me more speed where it's most important - namely through impact.
