Hi guys went range today and tried a few drivers! i tried:
-R9 460
-Callaway Fti
-Cleveland Launcher
-Nike str8 fit
After trying all these i was really impressed with the nike str8 fit although the only thing putting me of is the noise it makes at impact! It was close between the r9 460 too i must say!! Does anybody else play the nike str8 fit or has tried it?? And whats your thoughts on it??

Mate I tried the Str8-fit and the R9 460 and just found the Nike to be more consistent in length and accuracy so went with it.
I don't notice the noise tbh, but then I came from a Cleveland Hi Bore XLS "cannon" :-)
I love it mate and have hit more fairways than ever with it.

I just picked one up a month ago after demoing several other drivers. I previously had a Callaway X460 and was just frustrated with my control and consistency with it. The Dymo2 Str8-Fit is now my favorite club in my bag. I do feel like I lost a little bit of yardage with it (10-15 yds) but I rarely miss a fairway now.

im supposed to be going to golf show at end of month and the taylormade tour truck will be there so might wait and get custom fit there and see how i get on the range with the club and specs they recommend and then compare it to the nike str8 fit! i must say though that the 8 different head postions really appeals to me over the 4 on the r9 460!!

Noise doesn't matter.
Results matter.
Thats why I went with a king cobra.
worst noise in the world but they give good results.
Your hitting the nike well so go for it.

Ummm... kinda...
TW plays the Dymo 380 head, as does Anthony Kim I think. I've always seen the tour players game the Dymo Str8-Fit head (not regular Dymo), but they have it glued. If you like the adjustability that much, either the new VR driver, or the Machspeed driver (cant remember which, but both feature the Str8-Fit tech) is going to be more adjustable, from what I read. It's some crazy number, like 48 different degrees of adjustability or something.
As far as the driver goes, I got it earlier this year, and I havent even thought about another driver since I bought it. I really like the stock shaft as well, though I'm looking for a shaft with a little lower launch. I actually had an increase in distance with it over my previous Sumo 5000. Before I bought it, I had also hit the R9 (non-460), the Ping Rapture V2 (loved that one too), the G10, and the Adams Speedline.
I honestly never even pay attention to the sound, and I think you'd probably do the same as well after using it for 5 minutes :-). When I'm a little off-center, I feel like I dont lose much distance. The face is hot, weighting works well for me, and the AXIVCore shaft is freakin awesome. I definitely recommend it, and it sounds like it worked well for you. I think you could probably get a pretty good deal on it right now as well. Good luck with it, let us know how it goes.
