Has anyone used V1 Golf (http://www.v1golf.com/) - home, pro, etc.? Any version?
I ask because I'd like to better understand the product. My company (http://freshlysqueezedsoftware.com/) may be doing the Mac OS X version.
I'll be dropping in on a pro, soon, too who has it. Seems pretty straightforward: draw on a video. Show video clip "tips." I know it's more complex than just that, but I'm not sure exactly how (yet).

I found this really old thread via a Google search looking for a Mac swing analysis software package.. I assume that since V1 still does not have Mac support that this project was never completed.
Any other updates on this? Did you begin any work on this?
It doesn't seem like a basic version would be difficult, for someone familiar with QuickTime development. But, I have not found anything available, or taken the leap into learning QT.

I used it last year. I really liked it. I downloaded it for free into my computer, videotaped my swing, then came home and immediately I was able to split the screen with a touring pro, check out his swing plane compared to mine, where my club was at the top of my swing, etc....It was literally like taking a lesson for me. I think they have even a more improved version for around 40 bucks or something, but I thought it was well worth it.
