Icon2 TRADE! 53* for 52* wedge! - December 15th, 2004

I have a 53* Cleveland 588 "Diadic" wedge. I'd like a 52* 588 wedge. Vokey's or Hogans would be acceptable as well.

Mine's in great condition, had it about a year. My 56* takes the majority of my wedge use. The 53* has a new Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip. No fading on the club face, grooves still great too.

Why don't you simply have it bent to 52? That would take less than 2 minutes in the hands of a knowledgeable club builder and about 5 minutes in the hands of a beginner.

Uhhh... Sounds like a reasonable thing to me. One degree? Get bent... in a good way!

Actually I'm thinking of going 50* now. The reason why I don't want to bend the 53* is because I don't like the club that much to begin with. The shape looks wrong in my eyes and there's too little bounce.

I had some cleveland wedges. They must have had too much bounce cause I bladed them or hit them too thin.

The forged hoagies are awesome. The vokeys are killer too.
