    Air plane reading...

Traveling home yesterday, had a lay over in Sky Habor (Arizona). Picked up a Golf Tips Magazine to read, the article "Power Driving" by Scott Hend, with Tom Ferrell was another article giving you ideas to increase your driving distance with set up, strenght, equipment. In the articel they mentioned they said the ideal launch angle for a drive is 14 to 15 degrees. I would assume that his is the standard? For you guys that have had a chance to get fitted for your driver with launch monitor did you get to 14 or 15 degrees or set on something eles? Why?

Also, does anyone know the ideal launch angle for irons?

You were in my home town and didn't say "hello"? How rude

Anyways, the launch angle depends on the ball you play, swing speed, shaft, etc. When I've gone through my fittings my ideal angle usually came around 11 degrees

Ditto - it depends on a lot of things. With 14-15 degrees, he probably has very little spin (~1500-1750) because his ball speed is way up there.
