Yes, $547,796,176 that is how much money Tiger Woods has made in the first 10 years of his career. 66 Million on the course the rest from endorsements. Lets see also married to a beautiful model, just bought $40 million dollar Florida Island "compound", able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and has made a half a billion bucks before the age of thirty. And he's a hell of a nice guy to so you can't hate him. I have never been more envious of another human being in my life.

Thats abousolutely amazing. Its good to see him give back to the community and the kids with the tiger woods foundation and with the first tee program.

Its pretty easy to be envious of someone like that.

    Re: $547,796,176

Tiger is an example of what to do right. In the modern era we have seen what many to consider to be the best or nearly the best at their given sports but only Tiger has made this kind of money. (Not sure what MJ was raking in in his prime). And if you compare the PGA to baseball these guys don't make squat - Tiger will never make 20MM a year just in winnings (the equivalent of a baseball salary).

Then factor in the fact that the ratings for golf, while not bad and likely to get better, don't compare to the major sports.

So how the hell does Tiger get all those endorsements? Well there are lots of reasons. But some of them are simply being the best and then, like you stated, being such a nice guy. There is never a real scandal surrounding him. One of the reasons I love golf is the fact that it is a classy sport. A gentleman’s game. And although Tiger doesn't quite fit the mold he still epitomizes today's game.
