The LPGA has a new logo:
The club looked a little funny, so I took some measurements. I sized the EPS file at 2000 x 2783 and used Photoshop's ruler/measuring tool to take the following measurements:
Length of Club: 1748
Height of Golfer: 2306
If the golfer in the image is 5'5" (65 inches), that's a ratio of 35.48 pixels per inch. The golf club seen here - clearly an iron of some sort - would measure 49.27 inches!
In measuring the height of the golfer, I measured on a diagonal from where the foot would be to the top of the head. This creates the "largest" possible golfer possible, thus minimizing the length of the club as much as possible.
The maximum length of a golf club (that isn't a putter) is 48 inches! The LPGA Logo Woman is a cheater!!!
If the golfer is only 5 feet tall, the club still measures 45.5" in length. That's one heck of an iron!
