Recently went to a course where the greens were more 'challenging' (turtle backed greens with some nifty ridge running through the centre). Anyhow, does anyone have any tips on how to better read these greens on longer putts. Does it just come down to experience or do you just ram the thing and hope it ends up close?
Just wanted to know how important it was to have matching clubs (ie. clubs that have the same grip, shaft, flex, etc....) Reason why I'm asking is because I recently brought a new lob wedge and was shanking about half of my shots (did not occur with any other club though). Change of grip and all was fine and dandy
