That is completely fake. It looks cool, sure. But with that much compression the ball would just shatter. That has to be a rubberized ball or something of that sort.
If it's within my range (270 yards is as high as I'll go), then I'll pull out the driver. For some reason, I'm usually all over the flag when I take out the driver on short par 4's. It's usually my distance judgment that does me in.
