I don't quite understand this. Sacraficing consistency at this level doesn't make sense. You can work the ball with SGI and GI irons, you don't need new clubs to do it.   The only real advantage a bogey golfer would get would...

There are alot of used left clubs out there.... much cheaper than right handed clubs..
