I'd play it straight up, no handicaps... The problem with the handicap system is that it assumes that a person has the integrity to play their best.  Sandbaggers have no integrity and there are too many out there gaming...

For a guy like you, XS is definitely in order.  I switched myself and found it much easier to keep the ball down and in play.  I am not as fast as you, so I'd think it's a no brainer to go XS.
40-43 today.  Handicap dipped to 9.9.  First time ever in single digits.  Pretty stoked...
