Haha! I didn't see how old the thread was. All I saw was that the last post was made yesterday.
That's incorrect. Per the USGA: http://www.usga.org/Rule-Books/Rules-of-Amateur-Status/Rule-03/     An amateur golfer must not accept a prize (other than a symbolic prize) or prize voucher of retail value in excess of $750 or the equivalent, or such a lesser figure as may be decided by the USGA. This limit applies to the total prizes or prize vouchers received by an amateur golfer in any one competition or series of competitions. Exception: A prize, including a cash...
Just picked up my custom fitted Razr X Combo set. 3h, 4h, 5-PW.
Did you guys catch the ad for Big Break Ireland? Coming in September.
I might have to find someone else to root for. Phil keeps breaking my heart!
Along with what I wrote in the first post, I'm about to give up my 2008 BMW 328i Coupe. I'm starting a new job in a few weeks, but it's a third less pay than the previous one. Plus my wife is 8 months pregnant with our first child so it's also not family friendly.
I play every Friday and every other Saturday or Sunday, So about 5-6 rounds a month. My wife said that if I want to keep playing that much, I have to make some cuts somewhere. So far I have given up my iPhone for a a cheaper phone and plan, and I've dropped to basic cable. The Golf Channel is included with basic so I still have that. What have you guys given up?
Yes, I've played both courses though never under USGA conditions. It should make for a good challenge for you guys!     Great book! I couldn't put it down!
That's not Washington D.C. It's in Washington State. Gold Mountain GC is in Bremerton, about 45 miles north of where I live.
They should've kept playing golf instead of going to the putt off. Let them play!
