Then hit it stiff thus figuring it out- and then life is good
Been searching for a new set of irons for the past 2 months. Went to Golfsmith and they are tired of looking at me. I have hit nearly every set they have. My hands are killing me. I have played for over 40 years- had two decent sets- my first was Golden Bears and then I hit 845s for the last 20 years. Time for an upgrade- big time. But after hitting so many clubs and my hands turning to crap, I can't hit a decent shot due to abuse and trying different irons. I hit the...
I like the Cleveland looks. I have a Cleveland 3 wood that is priceless. I'll look at it this weekend. Thanks
Cavity back 845s.
Hitting my 3 iron to 210-200 is starting to kill my hands- the older one gets. Too much hammer time. I have hit a few hybrids and slowed down my fairway wood but it is not consistent. The 3 is more consistent but I still desire a smoother feel without too much pounding. I don't really like the look of the hybrid- rather hit a smaller fairway wood. I used to have a killer Hogen 5 wood way back when but it self destructed. Any suggestions on a successful long iron or...
Nicklaus Golden Bears Woods through irons with Bullseye Putter in a red white and blue carry bag. Man, I was big stuff back in 1972. Or I thought I was.....
Find the best set of irons that fits my game so I can play the best golf possible until I need a new set of irons.
How do the Titleist 913D2 driver work for you?
Demoed the Titleist AP1 rions last weekend. Hit great but I am deciding on regular or stiff shafts. I am a 10 at 52 years old. Have been hitting stiffs for 20 years. What are your suggestions on whether to stay with stiffs or go regular. I assume my swing will slow down over the next 10 years. I can still swing with speed but will regs cause me troubles? Thanks
Very good point. Does the club do the work or does my type of swing take care the workability? I am looking for a club that will improve score based on the swings I give them. Who isn't? Overall, I need a consistent professional set that will last over the years instead of busting the bank every other year. Looks like I am off to the range with several selections and get it narrowed down. Thanks
