Just got mine to replace the Adams CB2 as well.. I agree - they are firmer off the face but confidence inspiring. From what I understand is the precision milling of the cavity back a quite complicated affair which is part of the reason...

Just got them and hit them a few times! They feel really good - a bit firmer off the face than my previous Adams CB2 - a little more blade-like. But they inspire more confidence. I am convinced!
