In the spotlight for the wrong reasons on tour this week:   Jim Furyk not taking his cap off after a round when shaking hands with his playing partners. I get that you are bold and look like something out of Lord of the Rings without your cap, but put your 5 Hour Energy to good use and lift your arm and take your cap off. I don’t care how many wins he has, but show some respect for your fellow Pros and their caddies. If someone like Fowler did this he would get...
As long as it's Nike you cant go wrong, I looove my Nike blades LOL
Looks more like his love child. Off the topic, but he should really take off his cap after a round when shaking hands. I think it's very disrespectful to say the least!
I agree, Ian Poulter is not very likeable. Seems to think that he rules the tour. He's great in Ryder Cups , but during the season you won't know he's there if it wasn't for his bright Puma feathers.
I am seriously considering changing to a broomstick putter, I have tried them in the pro shop and shorter putts are just so much easier. I don't anchor it, so that won't be a problem in the future. So just give it a go and see , you might also like it. The control is just so much better it's unbelievable, I can understand why guys on tour want them banned, it might look silly and seriously uncool, but if the putts are dropping then who cares really!
Thanks Dabz, I will try your advice. I like the idea of focusing on something constructive rather than standing around waiting for the other guys to finish. That is when all sorts of negative thoughts start creeping in and when you eventually stand over the putt you shake like a leaf haha. Golf is such a mind game!
Haha, no that is me. If you could see where that drive ended up you would have known it's not Louis :)
Recently I cannot putt to save my life, especially the short 2-3 footers. I've never had this problem before, but now all of a sudden I get all tense on any short putt. It got so bad that I'm now putting left handed and I'm a righty! I'm thinking of getting a broomstick putter and using it without anchoring. I would really appreciate any advice, because I do all the hard work to hit GIR and then I ruin it by missing really silly putts.
Oh those short little knee knocker putts. No idea why, but I miss way too many of them. I cringe whenever I roll a putt 2-3 feet past the hole. I missed three of them today and it cost me dearly. The yipps is no joke! LOL
I have the exact same problem. It seems that the harder I try, the harder it is to break 80. In my case the putting is killing me, especially short putts, I have developed such a case of the yipps that I'm putting left handed now and I'm a righty. I'm dropping easily 5 shots per round through missing silly short putts. I find hitting a lot of greens in regulation and then I three putt, it's enough to drive you crazy. So, what I'm trying to say is figure out what you're...
