This is why I get so confused. I thought the only cause of a slice was an out to in swing path? Club face position only giving ball initial direction?
Take less strokes
I played as a kid back in the late 90s so I had prior experience but just picked it back up again 3 months ago. Never remember having problems slicing back then. It seems closing my stance helps hit them straight. But still would love to hear what I can fix
  A slow motion front angle 
Yeah I was doing too much then, I felt like I was really arching the back. I employed the rear foot back a few inches method for once (back as in closed stance) and so far I'm hitting straighter than ever.
My swing must be perfect, no one critiqued it! Haha
