For me a long course is about 6700+ yards for me. I generally play from the blues which is about 6800 yards, but I play that for the challenge, and then when I go to Oregon and play high school we will play from 6800 so I need the practice.
The only thing that I really have to offer on this is why not get another CG12? I will keep your wedges consistent, and you obviously like the ones you have.
I have tried the B330-RX, and IMHO it is great for average swing speeds (like me) because I picked up about 15 yards over the Pro V1x, but the spin just wasn't there. I first played the RX in Oregon, and there I was spinning back V1x's...
Did you get the job?
For me I would say Jim Furyk. Cool, calm, and collected. Also he just finds his way around the course, he is a strategic player, not the longest, but still scores out there. I am definitely not a long ball hitter, and I play target golf.
Yeah, I'm thinking about switching back from the Pro V1, I personally think they are great, and perform better then the Pro V IMHO.
Next year I'm going to be going to school in Oregon, and the school that I'm going to has one of the better golf teams in the state, and if I were there right now with my 7.7 index I'd be the #3 or 4 guy. The bottom end of varsity shoots...
