Just because the clubs were just manufacturered... doesnt mean the grips were. They are more than likely old and starting to dry rot.

GP Cords are good grips but they are complete opposites... cant even compare the two. My cords on my protos wore out in no time. My iomics have lasted two years so far... and they do gain more feel after they are broken in.
Try golfpactravel.com... I've used them a half a dozen times... especially during non-peak. Recently we (2 people) just stayed at the Ritz Naples for four nights with 3 rounds each for $850.00 total.
Nothing is cheap or even relatively cheap in January... Green fees from summer to winter will increase $50 - $75 for most places. But... for the most courses and decent lodging... I would look into Doral.

Even for $35 they are a waste of money... they dry rot in a hurry.
