I have bought from ebay a good amount and everything has been legit. I make sure that the seller has a high approval rating and a lot of sells. That product seems pretty legit to me.

If you do a search, either here or on the main page, (can't remember which) there was some information on how to spot a fake Scotty.

That said, I've purchased almost all of my equipment from ebay, balls included. The deals I've gotten have been incredible and have never had a problem. Just find out what the policy is if you are not satisfied. Personally, I would stay away from anything that is "All sales are final."

I have had no problem, but dont buy from just anyone. Has to have good feedback. I acually have a bid on a set of irons right now!

the putter looks ok, I figure its an older model and not to common on ebay...

I cant even find these anywhere around here, we also have a great used store here in MA, Joe and Leigh's

they have an amazing used selection and I never see anything like that there

I've never bought clubs but I've always had positive experiences (about 60 purchases) you can of course read about the seller and their reviews. If it isn't 99% or higher, something is up.

Don't know if that is the same with clubs...

Watch stuff from China! Got a fake r-7 3 wood from Bejing, lots of fakes come from there I later found out. I will stick to close-outs or maybe "rockbottomgolf"

I bought my Mizuno's from Ebay and they are awesome. The seller said he had used them two times and it didn't even look like it. Just make sure there are at least a few pics, positive feedback and lots of sales. Should be fine.

I usually only buy from golf stores on ebay, or sellers with a huge ammount of sales with great feedback.

Just bought an r7 5 wood, which went very smoothly, and am currently bidding on a putter.

      Angle is not a factor. I hit the ball 100’ high. Par is net birdie. My CH is 16. The rough between the bunkers is like 10’ wide though. That’s not something you’re going to try to hit on purpose. Most of the area to the left of that is fescue/native vegetation and I’m pretty sure there isn’t a flat lie in any of it. It’s the second hole.

      Hello all.  I'm about to be 57 yrs old, started playing when I was 16, and have quit and restarted the game more times than I can count.  I had started playing a weekly round with a friend, and finally made the jump to Senior A shafted Tour Edge clubs.  Instantly gained 10 yds with an easier swing (why didn't I make that jump sooner???).  Glad to be a part of the group.       I think I like this hole.  It is a clear "Risk-Reward" choice.  Since most of the shots in your cone cleared the bunkers I would say they are a minor risk and not a big issue.  Playing the aggressive line may give you 70ish yards in from what looks to be playable rough while conservative play is 120ish from fairway.  I know you said 70 vs 120 is minor for you but how does the approach angle in impact your results?  I figure both strategies are playing for Birdie since holing out from either is mostly luck. Looking at your proximity hole I think it says @ 50 feet when hitting from the fairway from 100-150 and 40 feet if hitting 50-100 from the rough.  Neither of those is an easy birdie putt.   I like the approach angle from the rough between the bunkers & the adjacent tees over the angle from @ 120 in the fairway but I really do not like the idea of hitting onto the adjacent tee boxes and that may impact my confidence with making the shot.  Also, too far left may be a worse approach angle then from the fairway short of the bunkers. For me this may come down to how confident do I feel when I reach that tee box.  If I am stroking it well off the tee leading up to the hole I would try for over the bunkers and the better angle in but if I am struggling that day I would likely opt for the fairway to take more bad stuff out of play.
