Is there a way to make my SG3 "recognized" as a USB device? I get the message "unrecognized USB device" when I plug it in. I'm running Vista Home Premium. I have downloaded the latest version of the download manager as well..

Wehn I go into USB devices I do see the "unrecognized device" but then for everything I do still doesn' work? :(

If you're using the front USB ports, I'd strongly recommend trying those on the back of your computer, directly connected to the mainboard. For some reason, many front USB ports tend to under-deliver voltage.

I spoke with the customer rep. and he is shipping out a new one to swap out with mine..he said that older versions of the SG3 may not run correctly on Vista..so hopefully that settles that.

I have to say the the folks at SkyGolf/SkyCaddie are legit. They cross shipped me a brand new SG3. I guess there's a problem with older SG3's and newer computers (I'm running Vista). The SG3 is running perfect. Kudos to SkyGolf.
