What are your ideal playing conditions?

Personally, I really enjoy playing around when it's overcast and in the mid 60's with maybe a slight breeze. That's probably cold to some of you, but it's perfect weather for me. Once it starts getting 80's and really humid, I have a tough time motivating myself to get out and play. I like overcast skies because it's easier for me to see my ball in the air.

I quite like 15-20C with a slight breeze. Not overcast, fairly sunny, but not too hot. Also prefer it to have rained recently, hate playing on a solid course with hard ground.

95-100 degrees with breezes from 5-10mph. Great scoring conditions.

Honestly I love playing in 90-100 degree heat. Just hot enough to keep a few people off the course and giving me a decent tan for the week.

I usually start early enough where I only have to deal with those temps during the last 9-12 holes. I cant deal with our annual 2-3 weeks of winter where it may only be 50 degrees in the morning and I have to put on a bit more clothing. Also once rain hits the course I know my day is going to be garbage.

I like it 70 - 80 degrees. A little breeze is nice. A few clouds to stop the sun from beating on you continuously, but not completely overcast. After a rain is nice if the course is not soaked. It greens it all up.

I don't hate hot and humid, but I can't stand playing when it's cold. A friend of mine does two scramble events every year that I am kind of obligated to play in and he always waits until October (cheaper course rates). In Michigan, October can bring snow.

overcast in the mid 60s is perfect for me without wind, otherwise any day playing golf is fine for me even in the rain.

Links golf with sunny skies, cool temperatures, and above average wind conditions. Just like the "Duel In The Sun" conditions at Turnberry in '77 between Watson and Nicklaus. Ohh that's perfect .

Overcast and cool with light to moderate wind in mid to late afternoon is ideal. I prefer dry conditions now that I'm in my late 40s and don't have the driver length of my teens through early 40s.

I play tons when I'm in Florida and New York and perfect conditions are overcast threatening skies but no lightning or rain. It generally keeps the crowds down and I can really enjoy the outing, seeing the ball perfectly.

The ball goes further in very hot conditions but I despise it. I lug my clubs when allowed and I'm a messy drenched wreck after 18 in high heat. No wind in high heat is suicidal. I seldom play during summer in Las Vegas. Dry heat my flat ***. It's like a furnace, and hideously dull with no threat of variance.

Rain is my nemesis. I play without a glove since I'm lefthanded but play righty. My left hand has the feel so I don't want to nullify that with the glove. In wet conditions I lose my long game completely, more or less bunting the ball. I've had clubs slip out of my hand and literally get lost in a fronting lake. Finally I bought a glove for rainy days but it feels awkward, no threat of touch.

I kind of like playing in dry heat. I could play outside all day in a place like Phoenix, but once you send me to a place like Florida where the heat and humid are both outrageous, I'm done for.

I love gale-force winds, rain, humidity, dry heat, cool overcasts days, bone-chilling cold ... basically anything but snow (you can't see the ball) or lightning (dangerous).

In the Fall when the leaves are starting to fall. Temps in the 50's or 60's, light jacket weather. Teeing off early in the morning on Saturday to finish 18 before college football starts.

I hate hot weather.
