Let's see, wife got me a new Ogio Edge stand bag and a gift certificate for a driver fitting/driver purchase at a local golf shop. Folks chipped in a Nikon 500G laser range finder, and my brother got me Hogan's Five Lessons, Penick's Little Red Book, and Nicklaus' Golf My Way.

All in all a nice haul, from a golf perspective.

For Christmas my loving wife put under the tree for me (2) Vokey Spin Millied Wedges and the Bushnell 1500 Rangefiner w/ slope. Of course I had these items circled in the Edwin Watts golf catalog. (s)
All it cost me was a ring of equal value that she picked out. I guess the new 3-wood and hybrid will have to wait til I recoup on the finances.

I have three wedges: 48°, 54°, and 58° so it gives me plenty of flexibility.

Now if only your wife could have increased HER flexibility, that would have been an even BETTER Christmas gift...

I got everything in my signature below as an early xmas present from the wife on Thanksgiving. She then got me a Titleist bag, couple dozen NXT Tour and ProV-1 balls, gloves and a Golfsmith Professional model Loft & Lie bending machine. Kids got me Rifle Project X shafts 2-pw and 2 additional wedge shafts with Tour velvet grips and golf shirt and hat for my next tournament. Father-in-law took me golfing for 3 days at xmas. Mother-in-law just gave me a headache as usual.

I like reading about everyone's cool golf stuff. I received exactly what I asked for: 2 dozen Pro V-1s, sky caddie, a couple of Ashworth pullovers, and a cert to play a round of golf. Now I just need some warm weather to use my new stuff. I always ask myself this time of year, why do I live where it's cold??

    • Just want to share a quick update with everyone. I went to the range the week before last, even though I took it easy no significant pain occurred just a slight twinge when I swung my #4 hybrid. The most encouraging news was no soreness the next morning. However I think switching back to graphite shafts is definitely gonna happen, my mp15's were fitted with X shafts and having something lighter will help.
