Anyone have a good drill? I'm breaking both planes on my back swing and coming over the top on my downswing and hitting slices on particularly bad ones. Ideas?

Get the shaft aligned parallel to your feet, but also parallel to the ground too at the very same time. They may sound the same but when you really think about it, they aren't. Also, i find making sure i keep the club head as far away from the body as possible during the take away is good for ball srtiking

sounds like you take it way inside, then over the top on the downswing. Try using the arms to control the takeaway and not the wrists, they should be more passive. Then on the downswing, again, use the arms and swing "under" your self to keep from coming over the top.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

Take an old shaft and stick it in the ground on the toe line, with the grip in front, pointing to the target, about 2' off of the ground and 2' behind your back foot.

Take away over the top of the grip. Bring the club head down below the grip on the downswing.

In the bag:
Driver: Rapture V2, 9 degree, stiff shaft
Fairway Woods: X-Hot 3 wood
Hybrid: 3H
Irons: J36 PC 4-PW Project X 6.0 Shafts, FlightedWedges: CG14, 50 54 and 58 degree Putter: Guerin Rife 2 Bar with Winn grip B330S Pro V1x

Hit 40 balls on an uphill lie. I call it the up-hill-drill. It will cure your over the top swing path in no time. It also trains you to hit the inside of the ball. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
