Hi Abe - do you know of a place we could do a one or two day school at? I love Boston and would come with staff in a heartbeat. You just name the place and we will set it up. Hope to hear from you.

Hi Dave,

Are you looking for a good driving range area or a golf course? The Golf & Ski Warehouse in Hudson, NH http://www.golfskiwarehouse.com/retail.aspx has a good driving range and is next to a golf course. I went there to a Demo day last Saturday. I'm sure there are many other areas that would work, just not sure what exactly you are looking for. Thanks, Abe

Hi everyone recently a Stack & Tilt Golf Academy opened in Mt. Holly, NJ. It is about 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia. We are going to have a bunch of schools there this upcoming summer. Hopefully we should have some with Dave Wedzik at Golf Evolution.
Our first golf school will be on Saturday May 1st at the newly opened Stack & Tilt Golf Academy at Burlington Country Club in Mt. Holly, NJ. This will be an all day event from 9-5. Number of students will be between 6-8. Cost will be $450 per student. For more information contact Steve Sieracki at Steve@SandTgolfacademy.com or call me directly at 609 238 5149. Here is the home page to our website. www.sandtgolfacademy.com There will be more content added to the website in the next few days.

I'd also be very interested in going to a stack & tilt clinic in the Boston area. What kind of a facility do you need?

Just a nice range or pretty much any golf course with a range that would allow us to hold a clinic there and have a place we can set up a couple laptop computers and a printer. That is about it really. We can pay a fee to the course if needed but that would have to be worked into the costs for the school. Best scenario is usually a place where the pros or powers that be at the club/range are interested in learning more about SnT themselves. Many times this type of place will let us hold a school there at no charge. I am working on getting to Boston though for sure...look for more updates very soon on a possible late Spring/early Summer date.

Hi David. I spoke with you a couple of months ago....and you can count me in if you guys are holding any kind of stack and Tilt school in the Boston area. As far as a good range goes..I know of one in the Metrowest which is in perfect condition . Its called 'Southborough Golf range' ( on Route 9 est bound). I frequent that range often and am somewhat familiar with the owner and the workers. i can ask around if you wish.

I would certainly be in too, in the Boston region. Another good facility in the general area mentioned above might be East Coast Golf.

BTW. if this helps-
The golf learning center I mentioned above does Demo days all the time, almost once a week in the summer(They host for Joe and Leighs).
They have it setup where the left 1/5 of the range is for the demo area(only on days with demos of course- left of the lesson area), so it can easily be made seperate as they are used to that, they just tell folks not to use the left edge- there is plenty of room for them to the right.

I am also interested in a Boston area course. Second on Scottish highlands as they have lots of space and a pitching area as well.

I would think either the learning center in Norton, MA or Campbells up in Salem, NH would be great spots. I would give my nod to Norton though as the grass area is much bigger and the group could be off to the side on their own a liitle better.

For the Greater-Boston area -- Norton location would be ideal! I'd like scheduling 'sooner rather than later'.

I also offer that instructors, generally, are not informed about nor interested in SNT -- it's not in their 'comfort zone.'

    • I agree with @pganapathy about removing some clubs. I would recommend removing the 2, 3, 4 and 5 irons for now. Play with Driver 3W 5W 3H 5H 6 iron 7 iron 8 iron 9 iron PW ( you don’t have listed) 52 56 Putter Th 60 wedge can be difficult for new players, but you could keep that If your 3H is adjustable, increased the loft to be more like a 4H. Play with these on course and see if you can get a feel of the actual yardages for each club and especially the gaps between them. It may take 10 or more rounds. A par 3 course is helpful for determining the gaps in the irons and some woods too. A device like a Shot Scope H4 can really help give you your actual yardage on course.
