My wife and I watched it last night. Funniest movie I've seen in a while. The scene after they wake up the first morning had me in stitches. Not as many good laughs toward the end but still great movie. I think most guys can relate to buddies doing really stupid things when they've had too much to drink.

For the past couple minutes I've been trying to think of the perfect hangover quote to put on here.... well, truth be told, I couldn't narrow it down enough, so congratulations, now I have to go re-watch it!

Just saw it last week, and have spent the entire week finding situations to quote the movie. Could not find any, so I just go around saying random quotes from the movie. It was great... Liked the scene with "Carlos" at the table

Awesome movie...not my favorite comedy of all time but it is up there. After I saw it in the theater I didn't think it would be the kind of movie to see multiple times since you would know what happens, but it has been hilarious each of the 4 times I have seen it now. You notice a couple new things each time and some of the scenes are always priceless (guy in trunk, tyson, tasering, etc.)

Even the photos during the credits were insanely funny.

They really did a phenomenal job with the movie.

I'm a little disappointed to hear that they're already making a The Hangover 2.

I love how Stu is missing a tooth, and the funny part is that the actor who plaus him, Ed Helms, is actually missing that tooth. It never grew in when he as a kid. So that's how they make it look so realistic. Normally he uses a fake one that can come out.

    • At a basic level, you can take those strokes gained numbers and if you know what the baseline strokes to hole out is from each distance, you can figure out how many strokes on average you will take to hole out from any given spot on the golf course. Then you can take that shot zone thing from shotscope and put it down there and see what the average is for each club and each target you choose. That's not exactly trivial to do though even with a computer, so the strategy guides (like LSW) use rules of thumb to make those decisions easier for you to make on the fly. Most of the time you'll come up with the optimal strategy and on the odd occasion when you don't, the strategy you come up with will be pretty darn close to optimal. If you're anything like me, then you'll probably wind up being a little too conservative with both club choice and target. Fear of penalty strokes can make you play suboptimally. Basically it's a bad idea to base your strategy on a shot that might pop up less than 1 in 20 times. If you happen to hit that shot, then today just isn't your day, but the 19 times you don't, you'll be in that much better of a spot.
    • That sounds like a small sample size issue. What if the PGA tour event he was trying to get into just happened to fit his game perfectly? Also, he could just be playing hot right now. I’ll put this in the wait-and-see category.
    • I've used a construction laser for years. Far less expensive than the PuttAim laser.
    • True, but as 15 year olds go, he has a much better chance of getting there than any of the rest of them. Kid can flat out play. He almost Monday'd into a PGA tour event a few weeks ago too. Missed in a playoff.
    • I'd bet against him having much success as a pro, because of, you know… the odds. You don't want to be the best 15-year-old in the game. You want to be the best 25-year-old in the game.
