What about Noodle Ice Crystal? I don't think I have ever hit a ball with a cover. Hitting yellow balls isn't all that bad as I recall...been awhile.

I love the idea of dying a ball yellow, however i am suprised that the coloring didn't mark up the face of your clubs... that wouldn't be cool... I played in some serious fog lately and had a sleve of Z-Star (tour yellow's) I was the only person who didn't lose a ball because if you get to within 50 feet of that thing, you can see it. My playing partners were jealous!

There's a guy over here, Katsumasa Miyamoto who recently played the WGC-Bridgestone and nearly broke the course record with a 62 in the third round, and was in contention to win, who's always used an ORANGE ball! There's a Japan Challenge Tour player who's pioneering pink balls too, which look a bit silly haha.

Probably the best ball I've ever used is the Kasco Kira in Yellow; http://www.tourspecgolf.com/Kasco-Ki...-Distance-Ball - not only doe sit look awesome and easy to find & see, but it's one of the best all-round balls I've ever played.

I sure would of loved a yellow ball yesterday. The first hole runs along the driving range and my luck i sliced off the drive and as i get down to find my ball its mixed in with a couple hundred other balls.

Okay, I admit it. I like yellow balls. I can follow them in the air easier, I see them land easier and can find them in the rough easier. I also have a minor stroke when my Pro V1 or Z Star waves goodbye to me as it either sinks to a watery grave or decides to go live a life of seclusion in the woods. So I picked-up a box of Pinnacle Precision's in optic yellow.

I wanted to try the NIKE BOB balls.

Didn't want to start a new post so hopefully this addition doesn't get overlooked..

Does anyone else see a reduction in spin with yellow balls? I've used the yellow E-6 and B330-RX and while the RX does grab a bit more, I still find them rolling out too much.

Is this a problem with the Srixon yellow balls or can you get more spin on those?

Thanks in advance.

Glad to see more manufacturers coming out with their balls in high-vis yellow.  If I hadn't just picked up 100 barely used Callaways in white a while back, I'd be looking hard at a yellow ball.  I HATE losing balls that should be findable.

I finally got a chance to try the Srixon Z-Star X in tour yellow today, and I think Im in love!!! That ball was fantastic for me! I can tell you from personal experience that it spins more than a Bridgestone B330RX. I do not think the spin has anything to do with the color, but more to do with the ball itself. When I think spin I dont think E6 or B330RX. Both those balls are produced for less spin… Which is specifically why I played the B330RX for a while.

In my Ogio bag.

And a yellow ball.

    • I agree with @pganapathy about removing some clubs. I would recommend removing the 2, 3, 4 and 5 irons for now. Play with Driver 3W 5W 3H 5H 6 iron 7 iron 8 iron 9 iron PW ( you don’t have listed) 52 56 Putter Th 60 wedge can be difficult for new players, but you could keep that If your 3H is adjustable, increased the loft to be more like a 4H. Play with these on course and see if you can get a feel of the actual yardages for each club and especially the gaps between them. It may take 10 or more rounds. A par 3 course is helpful for determining the gaps in the irons and some woods too. A device like a Shot Scope H4 can really help give you your actual yardage on course.
