You hated it so much you posted twice!

It was pretty funny I think. These guys are just messing around, having some fun, and maybe trying to show the world that Golf isn't just a bunch of elitest *******s.

I really like people who don't take themselves too seriously and those guys definitely fall into that category!

Ben Crane's videos are already cult to me, so are Bubba's "you're welcome" clips. Great to see, that Mahan and Fowler are also great guys...

Dammit - will Ben Crane just dissapear already? If it's not playing at a glacial pace, it's seeming like the 9th grade class president in interviews. If it's not annoying videos that lack the sufficient humor or irony to cause the (lame and egregiously out of touch) golf media to spunk their pants with no shame, it's this piece of excrement.

I like Bubba Watson. I like Rickie Fowler. Hunter Mahan irritates me as a person and I hate the way he plays the game. My opinion of Ben Crane is well-established above.

I was dissapointed in this. It was something the Lonely Island guys would have panned in about 20 seconds. The only redeeming moments are that: A. Bubba's outfit is hilarious self-parody and B. Rickie Fowler actually looks like he could be in a boy band and wear those ridiculous clothes.

Notice that the best two things I can say about the video are related to how folks are dressed.

Errghh. Why doesn't Ben Crane make a video where he mocks his own slow play? Or, where he just goes to a strip club with a bunch of other tour pros instead of putting crosses on his golf balls? The guy would have been beat up in most high schools. At some schools - repeatedly.

I have no problem with loosening up the game, guys making fun of themselves, doing goofy stuff, it's all in good fun. But I want the 2:17 of my life back. I think I am a lesser person now for having watched that.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

Ughh.  I like the idea.  I really enjoy funny videos.  The thing is it was just not that funny.  It was more stupid in a stupid way vs stupid in a funny way.

I am frustrated because there just don't seem to be any really funny golf videos out there and it seems like there should be.  D2 man is kinda funny.  Leslie Neilson's Golf My Way is kinda funny.  But I still haven't seen anything REALLY funny.  Except *maybe* the Mountain Dew Golf Cart Flip commercial . . that was hilarious the first time I saw it.

I agree with that.. I still haven't seen a golf joke that was better than JC Andersons ultimate golf lesson

I think their video was funny but really only because it was professional golfers doing it. Other than that it wasn't really funny but I like the idea.

He's pretty funny sometimes, especially when he talks about his slow play. I can't stand comedians like Will Ferrell, he has only one character in every single movie he's in, a dumb guy whose jokes really aren't funny....

    • I agree with @pganapathy about removing some clubs. I would recommend removing the 2, 3, 4 and 5 irons for now. Play with Driver 3W 5W 3H 5H 6 iron 7 iron 8 iron 9 iron PW ( you don’t have listed) 52 56 Putter Th 60 wedge can be difficult for new players, but you could keep that If your 3H is adjustable, increased the loft to be more like a 4H. Play with these on course and see if you can get a feel of the actual yardages for each club and especially the gaps between them. It may take 10 or more rounds. A par 3 course is helpful for determining the gaps in the irons and some woods too. A device like a Shot Scope H4 can really help give you your actual yardage on course.

    • Day 12: Same as last couple days, but focus was on recentering aspect of flow. When I recenter earlier I make decent contact most swings but if I recenter late or not at all it’s a roll of the dice.
    • A couple of things.  Some of the clubs in your bag should be dropped immediately.  A 2-iron for example with what obviously seems to be a lower swing speed or possibly not great swing yet is a definite no-no.  To be hitting that 120-140 yards, which I assume includes run, is a sign that you are not getting the ball airborne at the correct angle to maximise distance.  The reason your 3 and 5 hybrid are going the same distance is that your launch angle is better with the 5.  Loft is your friend. Ideally I would suggest going to a golf or sporting store where you can hit golf balls on a simulator without being disturbed to understand your club carry distances and hopefully swing speed.  With that information we can definitely guide you better.
    • Let us be clear, unless you have proof of cheating, you just sound like a case of sour grapes.  In our club we have a guy who won club titles for many years.  Yes, he was a low single digit handicapper, but there have been quite a few others who played at his level.  Yet his mental strength and experience helped him win in many years when he shouldn't have.  Did he sandbag.  DEFINITELY NOT.  Did he just minimize his mistakes and pull out shots as and when needed.  Definitely.
