My second pair was FootJoy, but I have since not bought them. Today I wear a pair of Nike Air Summer or Adidas 4.0. Very pleased with both. I'll probably try some of the lighter shoes that have emerged recently, like the True Linkswear. I despise bad shoes and avoid them like the plague, always in search for better ones.

Agreed man. I'm a shoe junkie.  I'm currently enjoying my FootJoy GreenJoys tho :)

Used Nikes for awhile but once I started walking courses I realized I needed a better shoe. Switched to the FJ superlites and really can't see switching to anything else now.

Adidas 4.0's here. I had a good pair of Footjoys that I liked but they just didn't fit my feet perfect. I like both brands, I love the classic look of the high end Footjoys though.

I have some DryJoys for winter and GreenJoys for summer and love them both although I did pick up a pair of Nike Lunar Controls a couple of weeks back and they're amazing; definitely my favourite pair now.

I have no brand loyallity, I find that with each shoe maker will come up with a shoe for a short period of time that I really like.  I have a pair of Adidas that are 4 or 5 years old that are probably my favorite, but of course Adidas no longer makes them.  For what ever reason they just fit my foot perfect.  But I also have a pair of ECCO Street Premiere that might be the most comfortable golf shoe I have owned, but I can't walk in them, they give me blisters on my heels.  I wear what ever brand fits me best.

I had the Addidas 4.0 for a while, then i got fitted at new balance and found out that i needed a wide shoe. So i went back and found that footjoy was the only one that had my size in a wide shoe in my price range. I tell you want, i never have foot problems walking again. The shoe is perfectly fitted, and i feel really in balance while i swing.

I have been looking at the nike's that incorporate there Air tech into the shoe, were it has that broken up bottom to allow for more flexibility while walking.

Shoes are built on lasts, so the key is to find a last that "fits" your feet.  So far, the "best" last for me is the one used for the FJ Icons.

The Nike Zoom Trophy (white) are like walking on pillows. They're very light and comfortable. I'll never stray from nike shoes - both on the course and off.

LOL...Oh boy, you opened a can of worms as far as I am concerned.  I'm a bit of a golf shoe junky!!  I've tried lots of golf shoes over the years and gradually became brand loyal to Footjoy.  For 10+yrs, DryJoys were the only shoes I ever bought.  I play tons of golf, so I go through a lot of shoes.  At times, I've rotated between 4 pairs at a time....LOL  These days, I only rotate between 2 pair.  And of course, the must be black!!  ...cuz they're easy to polish and make black again.   I don't like white shoes because once they get dirty, you can never really make them like new white again. Now that golf shoe quality has improved by leaps and bounds over the last few/several years, I started experimenting again.........

This is hands down the highest quality golf shoe I've ever owned.............

ADIDAS ADIPURE....they're pretty expensive and not for everyone, but it's a REALLY good shoe with the highest quality leather of any golf shoe I have owned. This is my newest favorite golf shoe....

My other current shoe is the 2009 TW and I don't recommend them.  Don't get me wrong because they're extremely comfortable, but whoever decided to make a golf shoe without a FULL-LEATHER upper had a screw loose.

Because these have partial canvas(whatever that crap is)......they didn't stay waterproof for very long.  If it's wet, I definitely wear the ADIDAS.  These are a comfortable good-weather shoe.  I'm not sure what I will buy next.....this is the 3rd and possibly the final year for the NIKE's.

I need extra wide shoes (at least on one foot) and found the FootJoy Contour 54024 in my size and my $100 budget.  Comfortable, waterproof, and durable with a great set of soft spikes, They're so comfortable that after spending two hours on the range in 102 degree 90 percent humidity afternoon I was exhausted and forgot to take them off when I went to Sam's Club for some shopping.  I didn't realize that they were still on until I started to notice the squishing of the spikes on the concrete floor once I went in the front door.  Actually, it was a pretty interesting trip through the store with the golf shoes on.  I'll look at FJ first next time but don't feel any brand loyalty if I can find something better next time I'm looking for shoes.

I got wide pretty wide feet and i had some difficulties finding a shoe that fit me right. But then I found these:

I found that Puma had some wider shoes and these fit like a glove. First golf shoes I've ever had and i bought them when I had 14 handicap, hahahaha. :) Always used some Adidas sneakers before, and this was a big difference in stability.

Hahaha.....I haven't changed shoes at the trunk of my car ever since spikes went soft.  I ALWAYS put on/remove my golf shoes in the garage........if I happen to go to the store before or after......I do it wearing my golf shoes.

LOL......I've done the above 1000+ times on purpose.

Adidas AdiPure and 360 4.0 are great shoes.  I also like the FootJoy SYNR-G.  Next pair I'm looking to try out are the Puma's and Nike Lunar Controls

Puma is one golf shoe I've never tried....but I expect HUGE things from them and I'll need to check them out.

Now that they've got Ricky.........I expect some good stuff!!.....the Ricky Tour model will surely be coming soon................

I'm currently wearing 360 4.0's, but I'm interested in Pumas. However if they are wider, then they may not work out as well as I'd hope.
