Huh???  I don't even know what you said or why you got involved.  Let it rest and get back on topic.

Bags with 14 slots and a putter well aren't so designed to allow people to cheat the rules.  The putter is more vulnerable during transport if it's left in the well, so they make the 14th regular slot to put it in there when you aren't playing.  If someone chooses to use that slot for any of a number of other reasons, that's his choice.  I've seen people use the putter well for an umbrella holder.  Looks strange, but certainly not worthy of name calling.  I wouldn't think of carrying a training aid on the course, but I've seen guys with a Medicus in that extra slot.  I'm not sure if that would count as a 15th club or not.  Certainly one of the heavy clubs would, as long as it otherwise conforms to the rules.  To each his own... let's just play golf.

Sorry to confuse you.

My 14th slot just sits empty unless I decide I want to use alignment rods at the range. I did bring my extra UW out for a round or two and hit it after my normal shot to see if I wanted to replace my PW with it but otherwise it sits empty.

The front (top) slot is a fraction bigger than the others, however nowhere near the size it should be for a putter to sit inside it without being battered around: Ogio Assassin The other slots seem to be pretty much all the same size. My current thoughts are: - Based on the colouring of the top and the fact that the center four slots are a little deeper it may be that Ogio intend to have people put their woods in the center 4 slots and irons/wedges around the outside. - The plastic bar along the bottom gets in the way of shorter wedges so it may be that the woods are meant to go here (in which case the irons could clatter into the graphite shafts!) - It's bizarre that the slots with plastic guards are set deeper into the bag (bottom three + upper right and upper left slots) Either way it's confusing at the moment. ;-)

Can't you guys count? Seems like 14 slots to me according to the picture. 4 slots in the middle and 10 slots surrounding those 4...

I don't know what the plans are for our group on Friday but even if we don't make it for dinner with the rest of the Friday arrivals, I'll be more than happy to meet up somewhere for a beer or something.
    • Taking your dispersion and distance in consideration I analyzed the 4 posible ways to play the hole, or at least the ones that were listed here. I took the brown grass on the left as fescue were you need to punch out sideways to the fairway and rigth of the car path to be fescue too.  Driver "going for the green"  You have to aim more rigth, to the bunker in order to center your shotzone in between the fescue.  Wood of 240 over the bunkers I already like this one more for you. More room to land between the fescue. Balls in the fescue 11% down from 30% with driver. Improve of score from 4.55 to 4.40. 4 iron 210 yards besides the bunkers.    Also a wide area and your shot zone is better than previous ones. This makes almost the fescue dissapear. You really need to hit a bad one (sometimes shit happens). Because of that and only having 120 yards in this is the best choice so far. Down to 4.32 from 4.40. Finally the 6 Iron 180 yards to avoid all trouble.    Wide area an narrow dispersion for almost been in the fairway all the time. Similar than the previous one but 25 yards farther for the hole to avoid been in the bunkers. Average remains the same, 4.33 to 4.32.  Conclusion is easy. Either your 4iron or 6 iron of the tee are equaly good for you. Glad that you made par!
