Does Modern Golf Technology have too Much Technology?

Greens fees may be a little higher now than then, but by and large, costs are what they've been for a long time, even with all of the advancements in technology.

I agree with the rebuttal, and will add that the Callaway clubs (metal woods specifically, with the Big Bertha) were some of the first to make the price jump.
