I currently have the 904F with a DG S3000 shaft and I love it. I'm wondering, however, if there would be any benefit to getting the 906F to replace it. Has anyone made this switch, and if so, was it worth it? Also, does the 906F marry well with a ProForce shaft? I have steel on the 904 but wouldn't mind using the ProForce shaft if I could benefit from it.

I have the 906 13* with the proforce v2 stiff and it's crisp , but more like a fairway driver. No high lofted shots here. You can however really smoke it.

I had the same dilemma a few months ago. Stuck with the 904F. I have an XStiff V2 shaft in it...13 degrees. It definitely is not a high ball hitter, but the ball does take off. I just didn't see the extra $100 to pay for the 906 otherwise I would have gone with the 906.

The 906F is a more solid all around fairway metal. It has a better CG, a better face profile, and feels a little better all around, I think.

I haven't played the 904f, but I just recently got a steal from my boss on both 906F2 the 3 wood and 5 wood for $150.00. I couldn't be happier with them to be honest they are a lower flying very solid wood. A clean shot with them feels soft and effortless.
