TM R11S sole plate "face angle" adjustment

3 posts in this topic

This is different question / comment than my other similiar thread.

How does that "sole plate" face angle adjustment open or close the clubface?

If I am at address to my golf ball with the club half an inch off the ground, and I had someone sneak under my club and turn the "sole plate" open or closed, how does that change the face angle of my clubhead?

I'm hoping its not suppossed to just sit on the ground differently because the plate is turned, thats why I used the "at address" analogy above, with the clubhead slightly off the ground, like Bubba Watson does.

That's how it works. Which is fine for most people, as they'll tend to grip the club when it's on resting on the ground anyway.

It wouldn't change the face angle of your club, once you have already set your grip.  It only applies if you set your grip after the club head is resting on the ground.
