Has anyone tried these ? They are supposedly up there with the Pro V type premium balls . Interesting idea anyhow.

Funded almost a year ago and still nothing to show for it. Right? Maybe launching soon?

Moving weight outward will reduce sidespin, yes. Basic physics.

It'll reduce ALL spin. Including backspin. With every shot.

Backspin isn't a bad thing. In many cases, it's a good thing.

I can't imagine they'd feel great, metals aren't known for their soft feel or their compression. It's either going to dent or feel like solid steel. Not to mention the sound; imagine pingy metal driver sound coming from a ball? Unlikely in practice, but amusing.

I think the spin could potentially be there on the shortest of shots if it has a soft mantle and a urethane cover, but you won't see me trying them out over a tour ball. I mean at best these could spin as much as a cheap ball by virtue of a soft cover for the short shots, where you're not even remotely compressing past the cover and mantle. On full shots with wedges and short irons I'd expect them to behave like range balls at best.

Plus they're hollow? I don't suppose they're filled with nitrogen and air tight? Otherwise you'll no doubt see extremely different performance in different temperature and pressure conditions when the air inside expands and contracts. You see a difference in solid core balls, but it's basically the softness changing slightly, the core doesn't actually change.
