I'm doing a lot of project stuff at work, so I have a day here and there when I could play. But, there's no guarantee it won't be raining or snowing that day.

Even if no rain or snow, there might be frost overnight. This means the first tee-off sometimes moves back to 10 AM. If you're not off the tee by 2 PM, it'r rough to make 18.

We got a two-week extension from the GHIN Hdcp system to post scores until Nov. 14, but events this week may crowd golf out.

Focus, connect and follow through!

OK supposedly this coming weekend it MIGHT be 55 and clear on Sunday... I think I might have a shot then!

(yes this is what I'll be doing until the end of the month when my local courses close)

Thanksgiving weekend is our last one then I close the course for the year. I can still get in 9 after work and I sometimes play in the 9 am shotgun. Temp wise below 40 and I am done.

Year-round golf in NC, although are cold snaps when you can't get out.  Biggest change over the summer for me is the shorter days.  With DST I can swing by a driving range on the way home from work and hit a bucket regularly 2-3 times during the work week.  That's gone now.  I can play about as much but practice less.  Biggest problem I have with golfing in cold weather is keeping the hands warm.  If they get too cold it can become pretty unpleasant.

8:30am tee time yesterday in shorts and a jacket. My jacket came off by the third hole. Gotta love Northern California.

snow flurries this morning.     Kinda looking forward to some time off - logged 105 rounds this year to date ... the old back & knees need a well deserved break

2" of snow last night and lows in the 20s all week.  Im thinking golf season is probably over for me.  I may be able to get out on Sunday in the early afternoon but my normal rounds during the week are probably done.

Same here. Was up at my Dad's place this past Saturday, he lives about an hour north of me, woke up to 2.5 inches of snow! Kids were excited, me not so much.

105 rounds?! Nicely done. Haven't been able to do that since high school.

I have clinical golf OCD - I work with an office full of golf enablers, and my wife loves to golf, so I have no choice, I pretty much just show up (at least half of those are 9 holes after work rounds)

I played last weekend on a delightful sunny Saturday at 55F, and thought the season was over, especially when I woke up this morning  to 22F and a dusting of snow on the ground.

Now they say high 50's Sunday and Monday for Northern Illinois. It's not over yet.

We'll here in va it was 70 two days ago the we got flurries last night. Usually if we get snow it's January or February, so that was unusual. Typically I can play year round without too much trouble. In fact this is my favorite time of year to play since a lot of people stop playing. I will say that hunting starts to take priority over golf though
