Following up on my other thread, I'm not happy with my current outer layer, which is  a V-neck Champion pullover. It's good for fall, but won't be for winter.

I'm looking to get a better layer and would appreciate suggestions.

I Have heard good things about Mizuno, UA and Footjoy.

What's you favorite outer layer item?

Thanks.

It really depends on the condition, if it's windy and cool, I'll go with a Zero Restriction pullover that's wind proof.  If it's cold and not windy, I will go with a UnderArmour or a Ashworth pullover.  I wear layers under that also, UA heat gear or cold gear depending on the temps.  If a fitted short sleeve shirt, cold gear and a pullover are not enough, I don't golf.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?

I stocked up on Mizuno Windlite Sweaters several years ago - It's easy to layer with a t-neck under it, the Sweater, and a Rain and Wind Resistant Jacket - either Sun Mountain Rainflex or a similar style in ZR with GoreTex.
