Everyone, please bring $10 for the pool. The winning team will split the pot. We have prizes for the MVP and LVP.

Thank you.

P.S. Please post to let me know how the list is different - who is coming, who isn't - from the post I made the other day. I think we were waiting to hear about one friend coming (Tristan?), and Mike's kid Stephen may play if we need one more to make it to 16 (or even 15).

Here's a view of the course I'm about to play. It's a 15hr flight to Taiwan. Enjoy the round tomorrow boys. I'll be at the next outing. Sorry for limping out of this one. But duty calls.

Never mind.

The person who has the least points total is the LVP (least valuable player). They'll win a set of the PureStrike 5SK DVDs.

The winning team will have a playoff to be decided by Mike and Erik to determine the winner of a Scotty Cameron GoLo S putter, graciously provided by Titleist.

Side bets are encouraged within your own group, as is plenty of fun and smack talking. :)

Here's what I've got right now. If Tristan is able to add the fourth to his group, he'll be doing so and will have four. Otherwise, the groups are all set, and the best three scores on each hole are what will count towards the team total.

Stephen is Mike's kid.

My two best rounds of the last year came out to 43 and 45, and a very mediocre round from last week came in at 33.

I guess I'm looking at somewhere around 38-40 as being the over/under of a decent round.

Just look at the numbers: net par is 2 points, and over 18 holes, 18 net pars is 36 points.

So a 33 is not a mediocre round - it's about 3 over your handicap index only (three net bogeys instead of net pars).

If a team has four players who all get 33s they'll win, I'll virtually guarantee it.

Talked with my buddy and he can't make it... which sucks so my team is just 3... We'll have to bring our A game!

Hope you all had fun.  I wish I would have played with you all since I'm only 45 minutes away this weekend but my schedule just didn't allow.  I did tee off this morning at Desert Spring Valley course in Palm Desert for a quick 18 (3 hour round) and thought about you guys having an awesome time.

Yes!  Congrats to Team B (but mostly to Pakoh for winning the playoff)!  I had a blast ... and hopefully teams C and D had fun out there as well (pretty sure they did), and everybody will be up for another get together in the near future!!

I just want to know who won LVP.  I had my eye on that award if I made it out.

Congrats to the B Team! Had fun and 103 is an incredible score; especially considering the hole on which you scored a zero! Wowee great playing! Hope everyone had a blast!

Hope everyone had a blast!

And I think the key hole of the match was #16.  (516 yard par 5, creek all down the right side)  Pretty sure we hacked it around on that hole for either 1 or zero points (I put it into the creek twice, managed an 8 ), while they came through with 2 birdies (one for a net eagle) and netted 11 on that hole!

That was the difference right there.  I want a rematch!!!!!!

    • Day 107 - More pitching practice, playing around with trajectory.
    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
