Why dont all youtube videos embed right?

I have a problem occasionally ... but its not a problem with a specific video.  I will embed it, then it will show a screenshot but nothing that will play.  To fix it, I just edit the post, re-paste the link in the bar and try again.  It's always worked when I do that.
