LOVE THE NOODLE! (but play taylormade)

Yeah the noodle is alright for the price but the Boodle? Well the Boodle is the cat's pajamas.

Noodle, Boodle, whatever. Back when I played Rock Flite and losing a bunch of balls I found a Noodle just off the fairway. I gamed that thing the rest of the day and di great with it. Amazing ball for the price if it is the same as it was back them. I think the reason there is such a large disparity in opinion is that they aren't incredibly durable inside. The core may crack after enough hard whacks so shag it after one game would be my advice.

last time I was at Walmart I found a new Noodle ball - it's their distance yellow.     For those of us who play yellow balls, it's pretty clear there are lousey looking yellow balls (Top Flite XL for example ... it's just a dull not overly vibrant yellow).    Then there's the highly visible yellow like the Srixon Z Star & Titleist DT Solo - these balls have almost a glow to them & they have reflective metalflake molded into their plastic covers.     The $10 Noodles have the metalflake & are just as vibrant as the best yellow balls out there from a visibility standpoint.      Noodles have always been the best of the budget balls IMHO...

Just picked a 2 dozen value pack of Precept Laddies from Walmart. Great price and I actually like them.

I don't think that the newer Top Flites are that bad at all.  I play them and I also like Callaway Warbirds and Diablo balls.

In my bag:
Driver - Diablo Octane 10.5*
Fairway Wood - Diablo Octane 15*
Hybrid -  Edge 21*
Irons - X20's 4I - 9I
Wedges - X20's PW/SW
Putter - White Ice 1
Ball - Warbird

    • I do not follow amateur or Korn Ferry tour but this story might get me to pay attention. At age 15 to be as accomplished as he is makes me think we may be seeing a future star.  A story of him breaking out may help reinvigorate golf viewership. • Day 8: Indoor backswing work, mostly rehearsals of takeaway. Hit some balls wtih 6-iron working on adding flow, but not too Much which I tend to do, swaying too far away from target.
    • Day 55: 4/18/2024 Got to the range again today. Planned to do my priority pieces and then hit targets with irons. But after my priority pieces I hit a few drives and tugged them all hard left. .... Uh... oh boy.  So, I spent about a half hour trying to hit targets at the range with my driver.

    • OPPs, I guess I have been doing the drill incorrectly, just ignore this.  But as they say, mistakes are learning opportunities. Let’s hope I can learn from mine.
