I've seen every West Wing episode about five or six times. Doesn't stop me from re-watching it every summer.

Love the west wing, i need to buy that on DVD. Very character driven, not many over the top scandle, or forced drama in that show, very well done.

I rewatch The West Wing as well. I've been reading the episode reviews on The Onion AV Club.

I feel for those who want to watch GoT unspoiled. Lots of book readers and even non-book readers who've read the wikis did an awful job of keeping certain events in season 3 a secret. GRRM, finish the d@mn books!

Unless you are only referring to the last couple hundred pages of the latest book, then I'll disagree.  I'm sure there is a reason for it all, it's just not apparent to me yet.

You're not, by chance, referring to that one member who's name I won't say, but rhymes with Betman?? ;)

I break out and re-watch the entire series of Sportsnight every couple of years or so.  Never gets old.  If you like West Wing that much, you'll probably like this one too ... same old Aaron Sorkin.

I actually started watching GoT because of all the shock and awe from the red wedding episode. Took me 3 weeks, but when I finally watched it, I guess I wasn't as surprised because you were expecting it.

Just saw this last night actually. Padraig Harrington did a a commercial for the European Tour playing what we all played at the driving range at least once. The only thing missing is the "boom" at the end.

Ryan

I watch that every summer too. Though I have to check - I think I loaned out my DVDs and someone hasn't returned them yet.

    • Day 118: 4/23/24 Stack Full Speed spectrum training session 2/24. Finished 1 mph over last session but 4 mph slower than the preceding program.
    • Hitting some good shots on my golf trip. It's good I can tell when I hit better shots the way I want to swing the ball versus when I use an older swing. Shockingly, the short game has been at worst, not harmful to my game. I am using similar feels to the full swing, in that I try to get my hands down. I've been nipping the ball clean off the turf.
    • I was laid off two months ago. Good severance, a 90 day layoff announcement regulation the company wanted to avoid so technically I'm still on the payroll for a few weeks, and a bunch of banked PTO, so I'm in a great spot and working on a startup idea I've been batting around with my brother for a while. That means I've got time to get to the gym! I'm at like 60-75 minutes 5x a week of strength training, and either a run or a bunch of time playing soccer or tennis with my daughter on the weekends. Stronger than I've been in forever. Up ~5 pounds of (noticeable!) muscle!
    • Do you have examples of exceptional scores versus their established handicap indexes?
    • Day 539, April 23, 2024 Mirror work once again. When I get back to swings, I'll just do it A. LOT.
